The meeting place is in front of the Cathedral Museum (Museo dell’Opera del Duomo).

On the tour we will show you the Cathedral Museum, which was inaugurated in October 2019 and which was set up by Studio Magni-Guicciardini, the same one that curated the Cluny Museum in Paris.

The museum preserves the masterpieces of the art of Nicola and Giovanni Pisano of considerable emotional impact, as well as the sculptural group by Tino di Camaino created to honor the Emperor Henry VII.

Moreover you will admire the monumental bronze griffin of Islamic production and the David with the zither of Provençal production, as well as some Byzantine artifacts.

We will show you the scepter, the crown and the globe of Emperor Henry VII, which testify the skill of the Pisan workers and the funeral cloth found in the tomb in 2013. At the end of the tour you can stop for a coffee upstairs and enjoy the splendid view of the Leaning Tower.

The tour lasts 1 hour. The cost of the guide service is 10 euros per person, free for children under the age of 11. The cost of the ticket to access the Museum is 7 euros, free for children until 11 years old.
