On this tour you will understand the importance that San Miniato has had throughout history, admiring the several artistic jewels located a short distance from each other. The green Tuscan landscape, a world renowned wonder, will frame the guided tour.

The meeting place is Piazza Dante, from which we will head to Piazza del Seminario, where the Bishop of San Miniato resides. We will climb a short staircase to reach Piazza del Duomo, where the Cathedral is located, of which we will admire the baroque interior.

On the heights stands the thirteenth-century fortress built by the will of the famous Swabian Emperor Federico II, who from there had total control of the countryside below. Coming down from the Belvedere we will visit the Church of the Holy Crucifix, which houses a relic to which the San Miniato people are very devoted, and we will end the tour in Piazza Buonaparte, which is linked to Napoleon for an interesting story.

The tour lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes, the cost of the guide service is 15 euros per person, free for children under the age of 11. The presence of at least two people is required.
