In Val Graziosa, just 18 minutes from Pisa, the Certosa stands majestically among the rows of vineyards where the Carthusian order, one of the most rigorous of the Catholic Church, lived in solitude for centuries in search of the contemplation of God until 1973 the last of the Fathers passed away.

The Certosa was founded in 1366, but it acquired the present Baroque appearence after the modifications that took place at the end of the 18th century; the visit will make us relive the life of the Fathers and admire the artistic heritage contained in the monastery.

The tour lasts 1 hour, the cost of the guide service is 10 euros, 5 euros for children under the age of 12 and free for children up to 6 years. The cost of the ticket to access the Certosa is 5 euros full, 2 euros for children between 18-25 years, free under 18 years. The presence of at least two people is required.

We inform you that starting from August 5th 2021 to access the museums it is mandatory to be in possession of the Green Pass.
